This has also started infighting within Liberal groups on issues such as MtoF transgenders competing in women’s sports and using their locker rooms. Referring to opponents of progressive policies as "corporate shills," "climate change deniers," or "anti-science." Name calling propaganda involves attaching negative or derogatory labels to individuals or groups in order to discredit them. I am going to be taking a look into each of the seven tactics and how they are used by the American Left to promote their ideas on issues such as Transgenderism, Climate Change, Equity and ultimately Marxism. These false attributions to conservatives and Trump supporters has been weaponized against themselves causing them to share falsehoods that paint the other side as a “Mortal enemy”. Most if not all of the claims used to smear conservatives are based on strawman arguments with little to no evidence. Marxism, with its emphasis on collective action and social change, has often relied on propaganda to mobilize people and promote its ideas. It is worth noting that propaganda has been used by various political movements throughout history, including those associated with Marxist ideologies. The most effective forms are through Mass and Social media. Today, pseudo-Marxists and organizations have used various forms of propaganda to promote their ideas and gain support for their cause. However, propaganda can also be used for bad, such as promoting harmful ideologies, spreading false info, and manipulating peoples emotions for their own gain, typically financial or for power. Non-Profits also use it to promote their own social causes like the World Food Programme, who themselves acknowledges that “Cinema proves effective weapon against world hunger”. Sometimes governments would rally the people in support of defensive wars, movements like “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” or “Think Blue and go Green” to push for environmental awareness, or even a film like “Blood Diamond” with Leonardo DiCaprio raising awareness of diamond mining in Sierra Leone. Propaganda has been used throughout history for both good and bad. Using a combination of these seven tactics, The American Left has seeded Marxist ideology into their supporters promoting the ideas of class solidarity, social justice, and the need for a revolution. It is used to influence the emotions, beliefs and behaviors of people toward a specific goal or ideology. Propaganda is widely used in the modern era and it comes in many forms. Propaganda is used to influence the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of people towards a particular cause, organization, or ideology. I thought it might be interesting to dive a bit deeper into each one of these tactics and how they are used by the American Left. Earlier today I was thinking about propaganda and decided to make a short thread on Twitter about it.
